Events is an extremely broad area of photography covering a wide range of subjects. Events which I shoot can range from anything from corporate events and publicity drives, to sports and theatre, private parties, christenings and, of course, weddings.
My approach to Event photography is based very much on the subject matter and I will always follow client briefs closely. For corporate and third sector events for example I take great care to maximise key figures and branding shots if this is the request. For private events, I will generally take a more aesthetic approach based on my wedding reportage.
Given the wide variety of jobs that Events photography can cover, I do not have a set rate for this type of work but I accept commissions on a wide range of bases starting from an hourly rate of £50.
